Saw Support

PART#

SS24

Description and Use

The TigerStop saw support is a recessed table for your chop saw that integrates with TigerStop feed tables (Fig. 1). It is adjustable and should not require on site modifications. The saw support is installed between two free-standing feed tables. This application requires that each feed table (which includes only one leg set per table segment) has a second leg set to support the opposite end of the top, which is usually supported by a free-standing saw or other tool.

Installation of the Saw Support

  1. Assemble the infeed and outfeed tables and position them.

  2. Insert a saw support attachment plate into the end of each feed table and fasten it with three bolts to the front (Fig. 2) and back faces of the table.

  3. Thread the 8" leveling bolts into the 4 holes in the lower flange of the attachment plates to the height at which the base plate should rest.

  4. Attach the saw support base plate (slotted side flanges down) between the two attachment plates, and loosely fasten it with bolts through the slotted holes in the base plate and attachment plates (Fig. 2).

  5. Place the saw on the base plate and level it relative to the feed tables, using the four leveling bolts. When it is just right, tighten down the fasteners in the slotted holes.
