It’s easy to do, and here's how!
With a flat screwdriver or other sharp tool, pry up and remove the orange trim strips from the T-slots on the top face of the fence beam.
Place the machine on your feed table with the motor box next to the saw or other tool.
Pound the strips back into the T-slots on the (new) top face of the fence beam.
